The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My first trip to Africa the elusive leopard refused to allow us to see his exquisite beauty. It made me sad not to view those beautiful markings and piercing eyes. My next trip took me to Kenya and Tanzania. Again the search began to find the powerful animal. My guide "Good Luck" had been a tracker for hunters in the past, so he began a fervent search using his sharp tracking skills. We finally saw this exquisite animal in all his glory. Even from a distance his eyes were penetrating and made us realize that he was an ELUSIVE threat .
About Cheryl Bowman

Cheryl Bowman was born in Pasadena, Texas, 1948. Her parents moved to the Rio Grande Valley when she was young. Her mother was a painter who influenced her love affair with painting. After managing an art center with a retail store, school, and gallery, she realized that the creative side of Art was what appealed to her. She began painting at 28. She received a BFA from University of Texas, Pan American in South Texas at the age of 38. She taught every medium at a Magnet school in South Texas for 19 years. Her travels around the world have influenced her variety of styles although the juxtaposition of shapes and colors remain most important in her work.
