Description

I had just arrived in Zimbabwe from South Africa and decided to walk around the area in Harare. Just on the edge of town was a path leading to the Zambezi River. I had arranged to meet some new people there. Enthralled with the sounds and smells of Africa , I didn't hear the noise ahead of me. I suddenly looked up and was staring into the face of a huge elephant. I tried to remember what I had been told. "Back up and let them know that you know that they are the boss. " I backed up slowly and looked back into his eyes. It was then I realized that it was time for a "Snack" . He wasn't interested in attacking me today.
